Sporting events at Lake Faak

For all those who like to compete in sports, there are plenty of opportunities at Lake Faak. The annual Faakerseelauf is particularly popular. Both amateur runners and professional runners can demonstrate their skills over different distances. ml

Cycling fans will be thrilled by the Tour de Kärnten. The Everyman stage race takes place over 6 days on a route of approx. 500 kilometres and approx. 8800 metres of altitude. The cycling event is modelled on the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia and offers cyclists a unique sporting experience with a fantastic panorama.

Events with a lot of horsepower

The European Bike Week, which takes place at the beginning of September, is probably the most iconic motorbike meeting in the world. The event attracts hundreds of thousands of Harley riders and motorbike enthusiasts to Lake Faak every year. In the Harley Village you will not only find culinary delights, but also numerous exhibitors and dealers with great offers. Two music stages also provide a varied live programme. The highlight of the event is the Harley Parade on Saturday.

Another high-horsepower event highlight that should not be missed is the Cabrio Festival at Lake Faak. Car lovers have been meeting at Lake Faak at Whitsun since 1981 for an international exchange and to take leisurely tours through the Alps-Adriatic region together.
