Spring is already waiting in the wings, and with it the well-known Faak farmers’ market, popular far beyond the region. Its opening is traditionally at the beginning of May and runs until the end of September. This popular meeting place for young and old is not to be missed.

Besides regional delicacies and homemade farm produce, visitors can also buy handmade souvenirs as well as crafts and works of art at the numerous stalls. In a traditional and convivial atmosphere you can enjoy open sandwiches on farmhouse bread, honey schnapps or apple juice while chatting with your loved ones. Afterwards, a stroll through the Faak farmers’ market is just the thing: you can taste excellent Carinthian delicacies or simply enjoy the mild weather.

The Faak farmers’ market takes place every Thursday from**May to the end of September between 17:00 and 22:30** (except during the European Bike Week).
